All cultures are welcome. Biblical scholarship can feel like it belongs to some people only. Well, that’s not true. Reading the Bible is for everyone.
You will have fun. Fun is a very high value for us. When we enjoy the learning, the learning becomes easy and really begins to stick.
Understanding Biblical Authors
-
We call the Bible “The Word of God”, and it is. But remember this: God called individuals, 36 individuals to be exact, to write the 66 books of the Bible.
What do you know about these authors? Where did they iive? What kinds of books did they write? Books of law? Or history? Poetry?Understanding these writers and the genres in which they wrote will open your eyes to understand the Bible in a whole new light.

Maybe you believe that learning Greek is just too hard – that it’s better left to the pastors and scholars. Well, that’s just not true.
Not only can you do it, but you will begin to understand Greek from the very day of class – and by the end of class, you will be reading the Bible in its original language, word for word.
With small classes and gradual learning, we will help you read the Bible for yourself.

Our mission is to help you read the Bible better.
What does that mean?
It means being able to read the Bible for yourself. With confidence that you can understand each word on the page just as the author of that page intended for you to understand it.
It means not relying on others to tell you what they think it means. And most of all, it means being able to see Jesus for yourself.
